Meet Cantona, a promising Bangladeshi artist on the run; Tights, an illegal immigrant from China obsessed with Forrest Gump; and Shanti, an Indian lab technician hiding from her abusive husband. They all share an HDB flat with a Malay-Chinese-Muslim-Jewish Singaporean who is trying to get his father to return as a ghost...and haunt him. When a forlorn pontianak begins troubling them instead, the four friends find themselves embroiled in a showdown that may just upend the world, or at least Singapore.
