Holes is a great read for young adults who enjoy mysteries and humor. The story follows Stanley Yelnats as he is falsely accused of a crime and sent to Camp Green Lake Juvenile Detention Centre. While there, he must dig holes daily and report anything he finds. Sachar's humorous writing style and the cleverly interwoven plot make this a captivating read.
