"Retribution" offers a unique twist on the vampire-hunter trope by introducing William, a former hired gun turned immortal, and Abigail, a vampire raised to destroy Dark-Hunters. Kenyon's world-building is top-notch, and her characters are complex and flawed. If you're a fan of paranormal romance with a healthy dose of action and mythology, "Retribution" is a must-read.
